On Friday 16th October I had my first client in for a micro current facial. It went really well and the client was pleased. The client will now be coming in to the salon once a week to have a micro current facial. I now feel really confident with using micro current  and soon I will be able to be assessed on it. Today in my commercial lesson i had a client in for a Eve Taylor facial. The facial involves removing the eye make up, cleansing the face with a clear cleanser.After i did a skin analysis which then i deciding what product range i need for the clients skin.I exfoliated the skin, also did a massage and applied a mask after.To finish of i toned the skin and moisturized it. I feel like practicing on clients is boosting my confidence up. I didn't sell any products today as i sold a age resistant day cream and night cream to the same client a couple of weeks ago. Also we had Spanish exchange people in our salon and they gave our clients a hand and arm massage and a file and polish while they was having a facial. After i did the facial i gave one of the Spanish students a hand and arm massage and they also gave me one. Overall i have enjoyed today and feel more confident.

Today i was salon manager.I had to make sure the salon ran smoothly and safely. I was in charge of cleaning the salon and Keeping it up to standards. I also practice micro current on another student on my course. I felt today was successful as i now feel more comfortable doing micro current.

Today me and some other students in my group set up a little spot in the heart space in college, we were offering IBD gel nails for £10. We only got one customer for gel nails but this was our first time so hopefully in weeks to come we will build up more clients. To do this we were offering out a free hand and arm massage and talking to our clients about the gel nails and how good they are.

I am currently studying Beauty Therapy Level 3 at Chesterfield College. I will be doing work experience for 10 weeks and will be updating my blog after every lesson.
